Gift packs

Does anyone happen to have a full listing of all the Christmas beer gift packs that the LCBO will be offering this year? I was hoping that http://www.lcbogifts.com might have something, but when I search for "Beer" there, all that is listed are mini-kegs of three crappy pilsners, and a 4 pack of Mott's Clamato Caesar. The search engine must've been designed by the same person who created the piece o' shit they have on the main LCBO site...

It looks like they haven't updated the site yet - but I agree it isn't very user-friendly.

I don't have the full gift pack release, but I know Orval, Maresdous, La Trappe and Chimay are represented.

Do you guys sell 330ml bottles of Christoffel? If so, how many in a case and how much per bottle?

I just came back from the Weston Road/401 LCBO and they have the Maredsous Giftpack, with 1 bottle each of the 6, 8 and 10 includes Glass $12.95, great price woo hoo! I'm told they only have about half of their Giftpacks so far.

We've posted this before elsewhere on the site but our gift offerings include Chimay Gift Pack (red, white and blue with glass), Duvel Twinpack (2 X 330ml with glass), Orval Twinpack (2 x 330ml with glass), La Trappe Twinpack (Dubbel and Tripel with glass), Maredsous Gift Pack (6, 8 and 10 with glass) and Corsendonk Pater 750ml in a metal canister.

Manul, for Christoffel, it is only available as part of the 2 X 330ml bottle gift pack AND as a 2L jug now !! We just got word that the Christoffel Blonde 330 ml will be purchased by the LCBO and will be available in the stores next June - as part of their Summer Release though. Thanks for your interest. Loaded up on a few of the gift packs up at the Weston&401 LCBO. The Chimay, Maresdous and the Vansteeberge six pack were the main ones I was looking for.

Was there not supposed to be an Orval gift pack?

The QQ LCBO is releasing their gift packs on Nov. 1st apparently.

I was at queens quay today and they had many gift packs out, including mort subite, orval, chimay, niagara falls, and best of all a RICKARD'S gift pack! just kidding. I also had a peek into the store room and saw the interbrew, mardesous, and christoffel packs. they also had the "exclusive belgian ales" six pack that comes out every winter. I didn't see any of the winter promotion, but hopefully it'll come around soon.

The QQ clerk opened up the Orval gift pack I intended to buy and found that the bowl had completely separated from the stem. He said that they were finding this to be quite common with the glass.

I had the same problem with last year's Christoffel glass, so buyer beware.

Take anything an LCBO person says with a grain of salt as many do not know what is going on. It's likely that they encountered one broken glass so now all packs are suspect ...as to how "common" the problem is, every gift pack with a glass is subject to breakage and we have never had a gift pack in the market when there was not some breakage. You cannot produce an affordable package that contains heavy beer bottles and delicate glasses without the risk of some damage...I would recommend that when you take any gift box up to the cash register, you open it to ensure that the glass is not broken.
