Although the LCBO's planned promos for next summer will see the return of some old favourites, we'll see a couple of brews from producers never before seen in this market....from the UK, we'll have Hook Norton's Haymaker, a 5% strong, pale ale and from Dogfish Head of Delaware we'll see Raison d'Etre made with beet sugar, green raisins and Belgian yeast. This brew was selected as AMERICAN BEER OF THE YEAR in 1999 by Malt Advocate Magazine. Dogfish Head is consistently referred to as one of the top 5 or so brewers in the U.S. both for the quality of their brews as well as for their creativity...they brew some strange stuff!

We can certainly work on putting together an order when we ship the Dogfish Head order to the LCBO but be prepared for some outrageous prices...for example, the cost of World Wide Stout, if we can get it, is $170.00 per case before freight, LCBO mark-ups, taxes and duties....are you sure you guys can handle this??? This is by far their most expensive beer but even Immort Ale is pretty hefty in price as are the 60 and 90 minute I.P.A.'s. If you're serious, I'll post prices as we approach the shipping date which will be in the new year.

I wasn't completely serious about the World Wide Stout. Don't really expect you to be able to procure a case. And, if we're talking about a summer release, it probably won't be available at all when you recieve your order. Moreover, it's selling at about $150 US a case from what I hear. So $300 CN a case . . . well . . . I would absolutely, definately split a case 4 ways with people if you could get it though.
I would like to see the prices on the IPAs, however.
