Beer Snob and myself just got back from Buffalo yesterday and we found that Premier Gourmet isn't the only place to buy good beer. I highely recommend that you check out Consumer's Beverage Centre. While they don't have British bottle condtioned beers, they do have many US micros and some Belguims notably
Chimay Blue in the 750 ml bottle. The address
is: 2155 Eggert Rd. ph 716-837-3087

Publican, why is it notable that they have Chimay Blue in 750ml? Just a few weeks ago we posted that we had Chimay Blue in 330ml, 750ml and 1500ml available here in Ontariariario and I can bet that our $8.25 per 750ml beats the hell out of the Buffalo prices. Anyone interested can contact us at

While I don't doubt that your price is cheaper, I assume that not everybody wants 12X 750ml bottles of Chimay Blue. I bet the average Bartoweller would pick up one or two six packs of US micros and maybe one bottle of Chimay.

Thanks for the tip Publican. It was a nice place - I recommend it for U.S. micros (such as Sierra Nevada, Victory) if Premier happens to be out of stock.
