Managed to get a private tour of the Amsterdam brewery yesterday. I arrived around 2:30 to pick up a pint glass before heading over to Joe's and the clerk mentioned that there was a tour scheduled at 3:00. So I decided to stick around (actually I wandered Queen Street for half-an-hour)
Anyway, I was the only person to show up. So, I got a one-on-one tour, and I'm sure I was treated some perks. Unfortunately no beer in the holding tanks.
Thanks to Mike for his hospitality and the excellent tour. I mentioned the site and he said he was would check it out. So welcome if you read this.
If your interested in my thoughts on the beer check out my ratings on http://www.ratebeer.com My user name is joey_capps over there. They'll be up in the next day or so.
Cheers, Joe
P.S. Cass, any chance of changing my username here?
