I am looking for pub signs etc... for my pub in my recroom. Neon signs are very nice but e-bay is way too expensive. Is there a store in Canada or even in Ontario that sells pub stuff? I refuse to buy from the states cause of the UPS broker fees. I am having no luck finding anyhthing in Canada on the web. There has to be one in the Toronto area somewhere.

P.S. Why are neon beer signs so expensive?

I thank God that they are, or there might be more of them.

My dad has a Miller neon sign, which I believe he got at Dufferin games a few years ago.

Be warned, however, that neon signs dominate the lighting in a room when turned on, so everything will be the colour of the sign.

Cass, Have you tried to convert your father to proper beer. I gave my Dad a bottle of Brakspear Bitter last year and he loved it. Do you remember the line in the CSNY song "Teach your Children"-Teach your parents well.

Speaking of Brakspear, in the September issue
of CAMRA's What's brewing they report that the brewery will be moving back to Oxfordshire by next spring. Since Brakspear is now a pubco the brands are owned by Refresh who also own the Wychwood ales. Peter is there any chance that you could import Brakspear in the future. If not do you know who imports the Wychwood ales and we'll lobby them

We have an agreement in principal with Refresh that would allow us to continue to market the Brakspear brands in Canada...we have been waiting for them to be in a position to export again.
