Kawartha Lakes (KLB) website down -CONCERN

Our local LCBO outlet says they are no longer stocking KLB Raspberry Wheat Beer in the 670 ml bottle. I'm told it will no longer be made in this size? I've tried to go to the KLB website http://www.klb.on.ca and the website is unavailable? Anyone know whats happening?

I assume it has something to do with klb going under and being bought up by amsterdam.

Home page is there but it doesn't link to anything anymore. It's been that way for several months. Your assumption is probably correct.

I think we have a junior version of E.P. Taylor/Canadian Breweries here (for those old enough to remember). The plant is closed, the equipment has been sold off and I have yet to figure the status of the brands? Why did they buy it? What will they do with it? Maybe they will build a massive stable of brands with marginal brand equity. What next?

Out here in the hinterland, the Premier rep has dropped off a sample of the KLB Raspberry Wheat to my local pub. Unfortunetly, it was awful! Not just bad but yuck! I could discern a raspberry flavour but it was lost in wash of other off flavours. I hope he doesn't have a lot more of the same.
