Damn... wish I was around to try some of these!

I haven't got rid of the halogen/electric stove at our new place yet... but I may have to try brewing on it soon! I'm stocked up on ingredients and itching to brew.

My second batch ever, a pumpkin ale is in the fermenter. Quite laborious, but it looks gorgeous.

I bottled up this year's blend of Flanders Red last night. Wow! Really good. Very reminiscient of Rodenbach Grand Cru, leaps and bounds better than last year's blend. It is a 25/25/50 blend of 27, 16 and 9 month old batches. Will brew up another batch in the next week or so.

I also racked 5 gallons of Sierra Nevada Golden Ticket Baltic Porter onto some of the yeast slurry. Should be an interesting experiment!

Bottled up a Pale Ale and put the Breakfast Porter into secondary. I saved the yeast cake from it so now I'm going to try washing it.

brewed up an imperial porter (our gonzo clone) and imperial coffee brown ale yesterday. kegged the pineapple kolsch. moved another 30 gallons to secondary.

next up will be a dubbel (really just a yeast propagation batch for our double quad brewday) and this year's lambic.

I'm off this week, and plan on brewing this year's Flanders Red, a light hoppy pilsner-ish blonde ale, and maybe start a vanilla mead too.

over the weekend i brewed a lambic which got a yeast cake built up from Cantillon dregs. it took off in 12hrs which it quite quick for a lambic culture.

i also racked 4 gallons of 7 month unblended lambic onto some virgin French oak chips and made a starter from homebrewed and commercial saison dregs.

On the weekend I kegged an american wheat and a black IPA. Also racked this years' pumpkin ale to secondary.

Long weekend coming up...time to start planning the brews...

Just put a 5 gallon extract batch of a Wheat beer in the fermenter. I used Danstar Munich yeast and added orange zest and coriander.

The Bavarians would not be impressed.
