I believe it was decided to hold back the release until the spring, since the beers are more suitable for imbibing in the warmer weather.

I had one of these mix packs when I was on the skip trip in Quebec. Nice stuff, but I would prefer the old mix-8. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to this.

I still have an original ephemere on my fridge that I am relishing, Thanks to a magical beer ninja, I was bestowed an eight pack over X-mas.

I have not seen more beautiful labels on a beer bottle. Hello lovely magical beer ladies here to take me away to flavour land.

There are four kinds: Peach must, Apple must, Cranberry (or as I like to call it "Pure Love") and an original ephemere.

Last night I saw The Pretenders at the Slumming Bird center, so before hand I popped by C'est What to try some Beers.
I had the Robinsons Cranberry, and I honestly don't beleive in Beer bashing, but this stuff tasted like a weak beer with some genandine syrup. I actually couldn't drink the whole half pint. I then tried the Trafalgar Belgian, which again was sweet and left a bad "Syruppy" aftertaste.

With the ephemeres, it is such a natural tasting fruit beer because it uses that fruit must to flavour. The cranberry is so nice and smooth and refreshing.

I heard in a dark alley that they delayed it coming out because Unibroue sent it to be tested, and the booze levels were a wee bit higher than they should've been. (That Unibroue, always trying to make beers high octane.)

But the beers are 5.5. And I am looking forward to having this beer regularly. (Three times a day, then repeat).

Cass I do miss the old mix pack as well. Since Don de Dieu left my life, I haven't been quite the same person.

-Chairs!

I bought a 750 ml bottle of the Spring, 2002 (Apple) Éphémère in Montreal last summer, and Sheryl & I saved it and had it with Christmas dinner. It was fabulous, and I can't wait to try the other varieties.

Beware, however, of the Cheval Blanc fruit beers that they offer under the Sainte-Paix brand name. I picked up a bottle of the blackberry (mûres) version on the same visit, and it was pretty nasty. Perhaps the apple & cherry versions are better, but I'm in no rush to try them.

Tar Bowel, there is an open stage every Tuesday night at The Renaissance. I think you should try some beer related stand up comedy. Your posts crack me up.

Hey, Isn't there some Unibrow rep who lurks around on this site?

Where is the lowdown? We want your fine product in Ontario and we want it NOW! (Maybe I need a Maudite exorcism).

So why the delays? I know the LCBO can be the opposite of "Funzies" (From what espirit tries to get in there).

I had my last apple ephemere last night and since today these weird hives have been breaking out. I know only one cure.............

What's the price point on those puppies as well in ON?

Thanks

Hello and good morning to everyone. The Ephemre mix 8pack was ordered by the LCBO this morning. Meaning that while I write this message, Unibroue is packing skids to start shipping this to Ontario during our next shipment to the province. Keep in mind that these 8packs are only available at self-serve beer stores. It generally takes the BRI a week or two to disperse this into their whole system. What I am saying Is that these beers should be made available a little before spring. Enjoy! $15.95 an 8pack. Claude.

Cool. Thanks Maudite! Now that's why this site is so great, because you get results!

So say if I threaten you to get the trois pistoles on draft.........

Oh, is it a formal wedding? If you need bouncers I recommend Bailey and Double Fist. (I know how crazy the french get when they get into their High Octane Beers)

Thanks!
