Now that I have your attention, I would like to thank you all for the fine banter and educational postings on this website. I am a first time poster, long time reader. I would like to share some memories from a recent ethereal roadtrip to La Belle province. The trip culminated in a tour of Unibroue and a more than memorable meal at Le fourquet fourchette. It was truly a slice of heaven, comfort food enhanced with Unibroue's fine products in an historic setting. Highly recommended. Departure day proved to be a workout as we struggled from our hotel in Old Montreal to the VIA station on foot fully loaded with 75cl bottles of various Unibroue ales I believe are unavailable in Ontario. Well, enough of my ramblings. Keep up the good fight.

That sounds smashing Tar Bowel. I like things that glow in the dark and shiny objects.

Gunny, glad to see someone else made it out to Unibroue and the Forquet forchette. I have the privledge of getting pissed there everytime for our Christmas party. I recently had a Maudite on draught that had been aged 2.5 years. Liquid gold!!!! The restaurant is a beautiful site and I always find myself stocking up on beers I can't get here in Ontario. All the best. Claude.

Nice to hear from you Maudite. Pissed you say. I thought Unibroue's rallying cry was "Drink less, drink better". But alas, you are right. One of my guilty pleasures is to open a 750mL bottle and pretend I can replace the cork after one glass.
