Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

If Victory or Rogue got this kind of thing when they arrive here, maybe they would sell better...

I can't believe he actually said "there is very little competition in the premium beer category". I'm sure Peter and others would have something to say about that.

I won't get into some of the iffy statements made in the article but I will say Welcome Fuller's (officially) - please send me some 1845 for Christmas.

My favourite iffy statement: "His company [Sleman's] brews or distributes a wide range of English-style beers."

I'm all confused. I can go to Scotland Yard and get a pint of ESB and London Pride, and can then go next door to The Esplanade Bier Markt and get a pint of London Porter. In the same vein, I remember buying London Pride and ESB at the LCBO about 6-7 years ago.

So why does Chris Robertson make it sound like this is something new? I mean I'm very very happy about the announcement, but isn't this just a re-introduction, with a chance at permanent availability provided it sells well?
