After a morning of watching the war (on BBC World not CNN, I prefer a balanced newscast not US propaganda) and English soccer I decided to head down to Mill Street. I was disappointed to find that their Pale Ale was not for sale yet, although I was able to taste it straight out of the fermenter. All you hop heads out there will be happy as this
beer is pretty bitter and is brewed with 100%
Cascades.

While I was sipping the ale I ran into Mike Hancock of Denisons, who was brewing a test batch of his Weizen. This brew will go to the AGCO for testing and if it is approved will be brewed at Mill Street. It's great that this beer didn't die when Densions closed, I only hope that it's available for the first hot day.

Thanks for the news. I look forward to the Pale and the Weizen. They should tap Michael for help on their lager, too.

This is excellent news....now I can (maybe) finally enjoy one on my back patio...or the cottage...having it at denisons was good, but perhaps overall not the best location for sipping a great summer brew

Sounds like they've got a lot of cool stuff happening. I think I'll head down there soon and make nice.
