Cass,
Is there anyway to streamline the process of deleting private messages? It's somewhat cumbersome. First, I have to login to view my messages--of course--then, each and every time I want to delete a message, I have to enter my username and password to delete the message and again to return to my private messages. No biggie, of course, just wondering.
Joe
Looking for the original Bar Towel blog? You can find it at www.thebartowel.com.
We have a trivia question in order to register to prevent bots. If you have any issues with answering, contact us at cass@bartowel.com for help.
Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Deleting Private Messages
Joe...
I don't have to do what you describe when I delete private messages. It could be a cookie-related issue on your end.
Try doing this - click Login on the menu options in the top right corner of the main screen & login, and then when it returns you to the main screen, do a browser Refresh. That should set your cookie correctly and leave you logged in for the rest of the session.

I'm not sure what's happening to you Joe - but I would definitely try Greg's suggestion.
This version of the forum software is buggy - I'm going to switch to the latest version shortly. I know I said this before but this time I mean it
See the preview at http://www.bartowel.com/forum - but don't post! It's got an old version of the database there.
