Okanagan Extra Pale Ale
Okanagan Extra Pale Ale
I’ve heard a few radio commercials this week about how this beer is now available in Ontario. As anyone tried this yet? I know it’s a Sleeman product, so I’m assuming it's not as good as it probably once was. Can anyone confirm?
I had a bottle a couple of months back, and here are my tasting notes:
"Orange-copper with a small white head. Mild aroma of non-descript, slightly fruity malt and a bare hint of hops. Thin, watery body with no flavour off the top and a stale, harsh bitterness to finish. Was this a decent beer before Sleeman took over?"

Last year it was Maclay's Pale Ale. This year it's Okanagan. I wonder which mediocre regional Sleeman will try to foist on us next year?SteelbackGuy wrote:The beer store clerk, told me it is trying to compete with Keith's.
