did you pre-pay the whole amount, or just the 20 per cent deposit? are you saying you've had no response at all from them, or they just told you to take a hike when you asked for a refund? If it's the former, that's absolutely abysmal. If it's the latter, it's a pain in the ass, but not completely shocking. I've had some private order stuff take almost a year. The more niche the product, the longer it will often take. The agent has to wait until they get enough orders to make it worthwhile to ship it over (i.e., they're not going to put in an order for 5 cases, or the shipping costs would be ridiculous). Also, the producer may be taking a while to fill what to them is a relatively small order.

I also contacted these guys inquiring about pricing for some purchases, but never got a response (by email). Too bad.

I've been happy with my sporadic orders with R&R and Esprit, so no big loss for me.

prepaid full amount ...issue is one of communication or really the lack of...i can wait when informed which this agent does not know how to do. as per a November communication from the agent the beer was delayed until December. Subsequent e-mails from me re a delivery update were ignored.. The request for a full refund was ignored. The beer is what i really want not the hassle of the chase. Indeed there are other agents as i have ordered from Esprit on previous occasions....Response back from LCBO is that they will investigate the issue.

that's very odd to have to pre-pay the entire amount. quite unusual.
