Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

If you could have one beer brought to the LCBO..

Discuss beer or anything else that comes to mind in here.

I'd like to see a kick ass, Ontario-made IPA available year round.

I stick to mine, as I thought that hopfen weisse was overhopped and it hurt the delicate wheat beer... completely not my taste. The Weisse though, is a refreshing, balanced, fruity delight. To each his own I guess.
Yes it IS a little hoppy, ha ha... it's a Mutant Ale. Freaking love how well it works though!

But on the recc I might try the Weisse at the Rhino a few more times, it's beer that just seemed a bit too sweet and bland the one time I had it. I think you are more out near the Québec influence and there are so many amazing, subtle beers there, many belgian-brewing influenced with a wheaty roundness and an emphasis on harmony of flavors. I even think DDC's "British" style beers tend to carry a French and Belgian attitude, or at least some of the accent. It's a huge food culture out that way (but I digress...)

For me, anything from Stone, Alesmith, Russian river or Lost Abbey.
Go for Arrogant Bastard, Speedway stout ,Temptation or The Angels Share. :P

Nice choice Eric! Not my favourite, but to each their own!

Like Storm King a realistic choice would be Brooklyn East India Pale.

From across the pond Fuller's Golden Pride and La Chouffe.

You guys should really combine these suggestions and startup a series of elimination polls to come up with a winner, then show the LCBO the results of what hardcore Ontario beer geeks are looking for.

These ones just dawned on me... Moretti La Rossa and Leffe Radieuse (singles or 3/6-packs).

Two extremely good strong reds for after hockey games.
