Good beer bars within walking distance of the Phoenix?
I've found this place called the Stout Irish Pub. Is that any good?

According to Google Maps C'est What is a 30 minute foot trek to the Phoenix. That's a little further than I want to walk in February weather unfortunately. Looks like Volo or Stout Irish Pub will be the winner.Belgian wrote:They're actually all within walking distance ha ha. At least that's my experience.
But C'est What is definitely close enough to the Phoenix. Nothing motivates me like good food and an expansive, ever-changing Ontario Craft beer tap list...
In addition to Volo of course.

We are indeed, but I think my hatred of cold weather trumps my love of beer. If it were the summer I'd have no issues making that walk though. Having recently made my first visit to C'est What and having loved it, I am itching to go back. My next ACC or SkyDome event will be the next chance.Belgian wrote:OK maybe it's a shitty cold walk to CW if you're not 6' 6" and wearing full-on arctic down.
I admit i'm a bar snob - aren't we all though?
