Re: Post Road
Glad you got to taste the Huether pumpkin ale Terry, it gets my 2 thumbs up ...sadly few will get a chance to sample it. Yeah, I was in Kitchener on some business, so popped into the Huether. Cool place. The Pumpkin Ale was nicely spiced, you could find the pumpkin in it and it didn't have any real...

Post Road
The Post Road Pumpkin and a handful of the other seasonal offerings have arrived in the Lansdowne store in Peterborough. Sad to say that it leaves a little to be desired. Not as interesting as the Great Lakes, or the seasonal on tap at the Heurther in Kitchener. PR has a metallic finish that is off-...

Rouse Wheat
Enjoyed this with Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. As said before in an earlier post, nice graininess and some toast. Decent well made beer, but not near in the same league as the Square Nail Pale Ale. Doesn't have the same distinctiveness, so its good but not memorable in the same way.

Square Nail Pale Ale
+1 on the quality of the Square Nail Pale Ale. Grabbed a growler last weekend and happily put it away with a good meal. Looking forward to trying some of the others and will probably grab something of whats available to go with Thanksgiving dinner.

Alas
I picked up some of your Summer Saison alongside some Chocolate Cherry Stout over a month ago. They were both great. Nice job. But now its all gone and I'm just too far away from Oakville right now. Poor me. Maybe next week ...

Samplers
Well, last time I was by there I grabbed a number of their little sample bottles of what I guess were experiments or one offs. Relatively cheap to try and they were 50-50 in terms of drinkability. I generally find their stuff too thin-bodied, like they are skimping on ingredients or something. I'm b...

Ew.
This stuff is utterly vile and I can't fathom how it got past the front door of the brewery. Given the generally negative reviews I think that Trafalgar has done a serious disservice to their fellow Ontario micro brewers and the LCBO made a big mistake in selecting this as part of their seasonal rel...

What's the deal with the giant 1 litre Hockley Stout bottle? I wanted to try this stuff, but I'm not buying a litre of something that I might not like. i think someone else mentioned that there are also cans available, though i don't see it listed on the LCBO website. Oh, c'mon. Splurge. It's less ...

Hmpf. That's pathetic. I fetched up some Orange Peel at the brewery and it was decent, but not real exciting, but still better than their mainstream line of stuff. The Atlantic au Pineau is essentially a beer spritzer built on a grape juice frame. I enjoy the occasional Fruli, but its standard stock...

Gift Packs
Looks like pretty much everything has hit the shelves at the LCBO on Lansdowne in Peterborough. Grabbed a Sinha pack there yesterday and eyeballed a bunch of other stuff.
