Pub Profile: THE BOW AND ARROW

1954 Yonge St., 487-2036

Directions: Take the Yonge-University-Spadina subway to Davisville Station. Exit and walk north on Yonge St. The Bow & Arrow is on the west side of the street.

Part of Ontario's "Neighbourhood Pub Group" chain, the Bow & Arrow is one of the finest places in Toronto to enjoy a microbrewed beer. The Bow & Arrow cares deeply for good beer, and this is reflected in their tap selection and dedication to Ontario's microbrews.

The Bow & Arrow's finest trait is, without question, their beer selection. They serve a great deal of fine Ontario and out-of-province microbreweries, and offerings can be potentially found from breweries such as from Trafalgar, Neustadt, Upper Canada, Steam Whistle, Lakes of Muskoka, Taylor & Bate, Brick, Hart, Black Oak and McAuslan, as well as cask-conditioned real ales from Wellington County. You never know what you will find on tap at the Bow & Arrow.

The decor is traditional English-style pub, with traditional fare and pub grub to accompany the great beers.

The Bow & Arrow also hosts frequent beer related events. All upcoming events will be listed in the Bar Towel's Events section.

Highly recommended.
