In keeping with the philosophy of this web site, that beer drinking is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle, a new monthly column will begin in April. It will describe interesting, invigorating strolls through central Toronto neighbourhoods. Convivial pubs will be visited and the walks will circle from a major TTC artery where there is also available parking. The duration of walking time is about one half hour of brisk to fast paced striding to reach the pub and a similar exertion to return, via an alternate route, to your starting point. The duration of drinking time is up to your discretion. I suggest that walks be done with a friend if you are venturing out in the dark, as they often deviate away from the main thoroughfare. Happy wandering.
