Pub Profile: BRASS TAPS PIZZA PUB

493 Danforth Ave., 466-3403

Directions: Take the Bloor-Danforth subway to chester station. Brass Taps is on the south side of the Danforth a couple blocks east of chester station.

Brass Taps is a great place to go for some good food and beer. They have 15 beers on tap (including Upper Canada, Amsterdam and Creemore, among others) and a decent selection of bottled beer. In my opinion, one of the pubs greatest attributes is the food. Not only is the food good and filling but it's also fairly cheap. Even the drinks are reasonably priced. Brass Taps also has 3 coin-op pool tables in the back. The pub is generally pretty busy almost every night. The most important thing, is that the wait-staff there is always very friendly and efficient.

Highly recommended.
