With a very small investment in an antenna, Stoney Creek should be well located to get all of the major ...

Last time I was at Pike some drunken kraut tourist got loaded and fell off his stool. He started screaming at the bartender in german when he was cut off. It was hilarious! Uhh Dude, I believe the preferred nomenclature is Schnitzel Face . Sorry to correct the correction but as the boys at BrewDog ...

Also, for newbies like me who don't come in with a lot of knowledge, simple things like noting on the chalkboard that the Duggans #99 is served from cask would be helpful. The chalkboard at Volo usually notes which beer(s) is/are cask. I'm surprised to hear that wasn't the case the other night. Yup...

First - thanks kish84 - Ashely's was a highlight! And the Hopcat in Grand Rapids is worth the drive. The festival was fascinating from a Canadian's perspective - Over 9800 people in the park over the two days - 400+ Michigan beers - 54 brewers A steamy hot day and a growing mud problem by 4pm inside...

Short's Key Lime Pie on cask at Hopcat..... I am stunned, not my normal hop bomb, but this is really nice beer. The waitress brought it over un-requested as part of Hopcats "Sunday night Short's Rare Cask" offering. The lime and even the graham cracker/marshmallow flavour is really pronoun...

Can't really argue with the result, we tried all 9 and the results line up pretty close. The GL Armadildo was fantastic but so was the GL My Bitter Wife that knocked it out....oh well.

Here's to the 23th and full pints this time around!
As for the crown... GO SMASHBOMB!!!
