Unibroue Inc. is one of Canada's premier breweries. Founded in 1991, Unibroue has brewed high-quality Belgian-style ales, and has experienced tremendous growth since its inception. Unibroue's beers are well-respected, unique, original, innovative and heavily drunk (at least by the staff of the Bar Towel).

Québec possesses a wonderful microbrewing culture, and Unibroue has led the way. Unibroue is the juggernaut of the Québec micro industry, being the top-selling micro in the province, and one of the top 20 micros in North America.

Success has brought hopes of even greater growth to the company, which began trading on the Montréal Exchange in spring 1997 under the symbol UBE (it has sinced moved to the Toronto Stock Exchange). The micro stock market has not been thriving lately, and time will tell if Unibroue can achieve success in stock performance as they have had in brewing beer.
